This week’s player of the week is the men’s soccer team’s sophomore forward, Scott Douglas.

Douglas had two hat tricks this past week to lead the Owls to two wins.

Douglas got off to a quick start early this week scoring his three goals in KSC’s win over Framingham State University.

Douglas put KSC on the board in the 30 minute, tying the game 1-1. He went on to have two more goals in the second half. Michael Jacques’ goal in the final few minutes of the game clinched KSC’s 4-1 win over the Rams.

Douglas kept things rolling with another three goal performance against Little East Conference opponent UMass.-Dartmouth.

Douglas made quick work of the Corsairs, scoring his three goals in KSC’s win over 16 minutes.

He scored the first goal in the 10 minute of the game, and scored his third in the 26 minute. With Danny Silverman’s goal in the second half Owls topped the Corsairs 4-2.

Honorable mentions:

Elizabeth Coffin continues to lead the KSC field hockey team with her top notch scoring abilities.

The senior forward finished the week with three goals and an assist helping the Owls to two victories over LEC rivals Westfield State and UMass.-Dartmouth.

Coffin scored the first and only goal in Thursday’s 1-0 win over Westfield State.

She also scored her two goals in KSC’s game against UMass.-Darthmouth in the first 12 minutes of the game. This gave KSC a lead that they would not give back. Coffin assisted junior Kalin Billert to give KSC their third and game-winning goal in the 3-2 victory.

Senior volleyball outside hitter Bridget O’Bryant has been a big contributor both offensively and defensively for the Owls this season.

O’Bryant had a team-leading 17 kills, and nine digs in KSC’s 3-1 home win against Emerson College.

O’Bryant was all over the place in the Owls’ 3-0 sweep over conference opponent UMass.-Dartmouth with nine kills, 15 digs, and two blocks.

In the second half of the tri-match, O’Bryant was just as impressive, finishing with 12 kills and 14 digs in another 3-0 sweep over Clark College.
