As the school year winds down and summer approaches, the excitement for vacation is here. Some students are already dreaming of amazing vacations and beautiful spots to visit to check off their bucket list, while others daydream about visiting a dream location later on in life.
Junior Abbie Joslin said she wanted to go to Bora Bora for her dream vacation.
“I always just wanted to go because of where it is located and the huts where you stay over the water,” Joslin said. “The feeling of traveling is just another experience itself and it’s just a refreshing experience to escape reality for a bit,” Joslin said.
“I’d say Costa Rica because I want to swim with dolphins and go to a warm place and see the tropical rainforests,” said junior Erica Szewczyk.
Szewczyk continued, “I’m not sure when but it’s definitely a dream that will come true, and my hard work I do now in school as well as working will pay off to enjoy myself on this vacation.”
Many students agreed that hard work is the key to achieving their dream vacations. They said they believe with the amount of work they put in, anything is possible.
“Definitely Australia without a doubt, but I would like to work a lot and save money first to go and travel there. Also, my biggest goal is to check out Kangaroo Island and to surf,” said sophomore Caleb Langdon.
Junior Luke Downing said his dream vacation is Dubai because they live a luxurious life and he wants to see and enjoy the lifestyle over there.
“If I work hard enough, I am able to go to Dubai in a couple of years and enjoy the nightlife and also see what kind of business goes down there and how people afford to live there,” Downing said.
Sophomore Tallulah Going said she tries to save up money because her dream vacation is to visit Greece. She said it has always been a goal of hers that she’s been talking about since she was in middle school. “Experiencing the music festivals and the culture and traditions as well as enjoying Mediterranean food just sounds so jubilant talking about it,” Going said.
Going continued, “The hospitality in Greece is very welcoming and the architecture is just beautiful to look at.”
