When the weather gets icy, many students might want to stay indoors and binge-watch a good television show.
KSC students recommended their favorites out of the many shows on cable or streaming services.
Some students had so many shows to choose from but a common theme for the students was they like to relax and put on a show after a long day or week of either school, sports or work.
Sophomore Hayden Smith said “Bridgerton” is her favorite television show.
“I like the era of the show and characters,” Smith said.
Smith said that she related to the character of Eloise.
“I want to be Eloise Bridgerton because she’s independent and doesn’t care what anyone thinks of her,” Smith said. “That’s how I relate to her.”
Sophomore Sydney Goldsmith said “Gossip Girl” is her favorite television show “because I like the gossip and drama the show brings.”
Goldsmith continued, “Serena is the character I feel I relate to the most because she’s really adventurous and likes to have fun.”
Goldsmith said she would not change anything about “Gossip Girl,” saying she “likes how everything is.”
Sophomore Haley Hagler said “The Challenge” is her favorite reality television show.
“It’s very competitive, which I love, and involves mind games, which is a great combination,” Hagler said.
Hagler continued, “I’ve probably seen [‘The Challenge’] about five or six times in total, but I prefer watching the same seasons over and over.”
Sophomore Abbie Joslin said her favorite television show series is “Outer Banks,” although she stated she would prefer shorter episodes.
“It’s very long. Although it is interesting, there is not really a purpose of having it be that way,” said Joslin. “Some people’s attention span is just too short.”
Joslin continued, “I like the action and there’s always a lot happening that usually involves action packed things so that’s pretty cool.”
Junior Kyleen Cochran said her favorite television show is “9-1-1” because “it’s intense and the plots are crazy and it depicts medical personnel.”
Cochran said the only thing she would change would be the times of when the episodes get released.
“I hate that I have to wait a whole month to watch a new episode,” said Cochran.
