Donald Trump and Joe Biden secure victories in the New Hampshire primary elections
The N.H. primary races were called on Tuesday, Jan. 23 evening shortly after the polls closed.
As of 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Trump secured 53% of the votes, with Nikki Haley trailing behind with 45%, according to AP news, who called the race.
In Keene, Haley secured 55% of the primary votes. Despite not being on the ballot, AP News named Joe Biden as the victor, with the majority of write-ins being votes for the incumbent. According to the New York Times, as of 10 p.m. Tuesday, 16% of the primary votes are for Biden, with 53% being unprocessed write-ins.
Dean Philips secured 20% of the Democratic primary votes. Locally, the majority of votes in Keene are made up of unprocessed write-ins, with 74%.
