Nothing says return to campus like the first Third-Thursday Bingo of the semester. 

Student Involvement hosted a sports-themed edition of trivia and a game of bingo, Thursday, Sept. 15 in the Mabel Brown Room. 

Many prizes were up for grabs, including $50 gift cards to Dick’s Sporting Goods and Amazon. Other possible rewards were a $16 sizzler gift card and prepaid cards for Dominos, TJ Maxx, and Chipotle. 

Kit Leclerc, who worked on the tech-team for the event,said “I’ve been really excited…it’s starting to feel like my freshman year again.” Leclerc was a freshman before the COVID-19 pandemic.

 Junior Sarah Gobiel, who acts as the master of ceremonies during bingo, said,“the more people the better the crowds.” She mentioned, things are “always better with the seats filled”. senior Samrat Adhikari was feeling lucky today “I’m a lucky dude you know, let’s see how lucky I get,” said Adhikari. 

Senior, Michael Von George had a great time at bingo. “I loved it, so many new faces. It was so much fun,” said Von George he mentioned “Everyone seemed to be really enjoying it, really loving it, great energy.”
