The tenth anniversary of the tragic events that took place on Sept. 11th 2001 is rapidly approaching.
According to a press release compiled by journalism professor Rose Kundanis, Keene State College will commemorate the anniversary by providing personal reflections by members of the KSC community on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011 from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Mabel Brown Room in the L.P Young Student Center.
KSC students will also perform a dance titled “The Architects” choreographed by Distinguished Teacher of the Year, Professor William Seigh.
Professor David White will recite a story by Jeanette Winter, titled “September Roses.”
In addition to remembering the historic day, a film remembrance is set for Monday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m. in Drenan Auditorium in Parker Hall. The films include excerpts from “Underground Zero,” “9’11’01,” and the “Baghdad Shorts Collection.”
