The Endicott College Field Hockey team showed out on Wednesday, Nov. 12, with a dominant 9–0 victory against Keene State in the NCAA opening round matchup in Beverly, Mass.
Endicott controlled the pace from the jump, generating constant pressure and outshooting the Owls 34–12, including a 21–4 advantage in shots on goal. The Gulls broke through when midfielder Reagan Hicks buried a score off a setup from forward Tori Swanson. That goal opened up the floodgates for a three-goal outburst late in the first half. Swanson struck an unassisted goal through the posts, followed less than a minute later by defender Riley Perkins, who finished a feed from Swanson. Hicks added her second of the quarter at 21:55, pushing the team’s advantage to 4–0.
Endicott continued its tireless attack in the second and third quarters. Forward Sabrina Brunet scored two times, once in the second and again in the fourth while forward Maddy Dengler added a goal of her own. Hicks completed her hat trick early in the fourth, collecting her 23rd of the year, and defender Natalia Correia capped the scoring off with a setup from forward Natalia Arjona.
Despite the blowout, Keene State’s goalkeeper gameplay kept the Owls afloat, combining for 12 saves against constant pressure. Endicott’s defense remained composed and calm throughout the whole match, allowing just four shots on goal and committing no fouls.
With a lot of contributors in the scoring category, disciplined structure and overwhelming offensive production, Endicott demonstrated why it holds a top ten national ranking as it advances confidently into postseason play. For Keene State, the 2025 season comes to an end.
