The upcoming forecast for Keene shows a continuing trend of rain and snow for the remainder of the week.
According to Stephen Baron, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service (NWS), which is located in Gray, Maine, there is a likelihood of rain and snow in the next couple days.
“Generally for the week we’re seeing highs in the 40s and lows in the 20s,” Baron said. “Chance of rain and snow mix on Wednesday night into Thursday.”
According to the NWS website, the snow is not predicted to begin until after 1 a.m. in the morning on Thursday. After the snowstorm, rain is expected in the area.
“The temperatures are cool going into the weekend,” Baron went on. “Highs Saturday and Sunday in the 30s.”
Friday night is predicted to be predominantly cloudy and there’s a 30 percent chance of snow on Saturday. Sunday, meanwhile, is expected to be somewhat sunny, with a high of 31 degrees Fahrenheit and a low of seven degrees.
Going into next week, Monday, likewise, is expected to be sunny, with a high around 30 degrees Fahrenheit.
