The Night Owl Café (NOC) popcorn machine is finally working again for the spring semester.
The NOC is a place for students to grab a free beverage and a bag of popcorn. The popcorn machine has not been working for weeks now and students have been awaiting the machine to be fixed, according to previous reporting by The Equinox
The NOC has been open this semester for students to grab a soda or water from the fridge but the popcorn machine was not working which saddened a lot of students as they looked forward to it after a long day.
“The machine actually came back today and it’s been very very busy and we almost ran out of a whole thing of oil,” said senior NOC employee Morgan Massaro. “I think it’s been busy because it’s been cross-posted on multiple social media platforms.”
The NOC introduces new flavors here and there for students to try. Upon the machine being fixed, there was also a new flavor introduced for February.
“The February flavor popup was announced with the machine being fixed and it is milk chocolate caramel,” said Massaro.
The Keene State Office of Student Involvement has an Instagram account for students to stay involved with updates about popcorn pop-up flavors and other events regarding student involvement.
