As winter inches closer and closer, students can expect temperatures in the 50s and 40s as the weekend approaches.
Jon Palmer, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Gray, Maine, said it will be a relatively dry weekend, with scattered showers on Friday.
“By Saturday, by the weekend, we’re looking at high temperatures in the low 50s with mostly dry conditions expected,” Palmer said.
Thursday will have a high of 46 degrees with increasing clouds throughout the day, while Friday will have a high of 47 degrees, according to Palmer.
While the conditions for snow have not formed yet in Keene, light snow has already fallen in Berlin, N.H. and surrounding communities as of late October, according to an October 28 WMUR article.
With winter just over 30 days away, students should consider starting to layer their clothing, according to an Oct. 30, 2018 column by The Washington Post.
