The Associated Press called New Hampshire’s four electoral votes for Vice President Kamala Harris at 1:16 a.m. on Wednesday as former President Donald Trump pulled ahead in other swing states, ultimately winning the presidency.
Harris beat Trump by a margin of 50.9% to 48.1%, a slimmer margin to Biden’s 7.5% win in the Granite State during the 2020 race.
Harris is the incumbent vice president and former U.S. senator from California from 2017-2021 and Attorney General of C.A. from 2011-2017.
Trump, a native New Yorker and business personality, was running for a second non-consecutive term, after being elected president in 2016.
Ultimately, Trump prevailed nationally and is projected to win over the 270 electoral votes needed to take the White House back.
