Keene State Men’s Soccer added a second game to the loss column after a stinging defeat against Endicott College.
The Owls’ troubles began early in the game, with Endicott’s midfielder Conor Rooney tapping the ball past senior goalkeeper Regan Racicot just three minutes into the match.
It would not be long before Endicott capitalized on Keene State’s defensive woes, with Endicott forward Matt Misiaszek securing a second goal for the team just past the 10-minute mark.
Following the goal, the Owls were unable to form a concentrated offensive effort, failing to notch a single shot until 39 minutes into the game.
Meanwhile, Endicott racked up six shots in the same amount of time after the second goal, maintaining pressure on Keene State’s defense.
Endicott dealt a third blow to the Owls just before the first half ended, with forward Jake Pezza scoring a third goal, putting Endicott firmly in the driver’s seat.
In the second half, Keene State’s struggles continued. Endicott went on to rifle off 18 shots in total, with Racicot saving seven of them, ultimately allowing none in the half.
The Owls’ offense remained quiet in the second half as well and were unable to secure a single shot amid Endicott’s offensive rout.
Keene State ended the game down 3-0.
Next, the Owls will face the Rochester Institute of Technology at home, which will be the team’s final match before facing a Little East Conference member.
