The Keene State community was alerted of a shooting incident by a Rave notification at 12:57 a.m. on August 20.
The incident took place “in the area of” Lab ‘n Lager on Main Street in Keene, according to the alert. The situation was labeled as “evolving” at the time and involved a suspect known to the responding police and at least one victim.
A second alert at 8:55 a.m. announced the end of the incident.
“There is no threat to the campus community,” according to the second alert.
Anyone with questions about the incident was instructed to contact Campus Safety.
Responders to the incident included the Keene Police Department, Keene Fire Department, Swanzey Police Department and N.H. State Police, according to reporting by the Keene Sentinel.
The victim suffered “non-life-threatening injuries” and was transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, according to the Sentinel article.
