KSC men’s basketball is approaching the end of their regular season in a familiar place — on top. With an undefeated record in Little East Conference (LEC) play, KSC men’s basketball earned the top seed in the upcoming conference tournament later this month.
The college will now host the tournament set to begin on Feb. 21 — the first time since 2019, The Keene Sentinel reported.
The team’s victory over the University of Massachusetts (UMass) Dartmouth on Feb. 8 solidified KSC men’s basketball a slot in the Feb. 23 semifinals. The Owls will face a team to be determined on their home turf at the Spaulding Gymnasium.
The Owls are heading into the LEC championships with an overall 22-1 record, 14-0 in conference play as of Feb. 14. They are also ranked fifth in the nation, according to a national poll by d3hoops.com.
The team is set to wrap up their regular season this week, taking on Castleton University on the road on Feb. 15 before returning to the Spaulding Gym for a senior day match against the University of Massachusetts (UMass) Boston on Feb. 18.
