Freshman basketball player Samantha Murphy, 18, has been charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and transporting alcohol, according to KPD Lieutenant Steven Tenney. He reported that she allegedly drove her Jeep Wrangler off the road and into the side of 50 Marlboro St. in Keene early on the morning of Sunday, Feb. 9. Both the residence and car were severely damaged although no one was seriously hurt. The athletic department had no comment.
