If you’ve been waiting for warm weather, the wait may be over soon. Meteorologists are forecasting a beautiful weekend ahead, with temperatures noticeably higher than seen in recent weeks.
“[It’s] one of the warmest weekends we’ve seen in a while,” said Jon Palmer, meteorologist for the National Weather Service (NWS).
Friday starts the weekend off with a high temperature of 56 degrees Fahrenheit and a low of 41 degrees Fahrenheit.
Saturday is predicted to be dry, with a high of 61 degrees Fahrenheit, making it a beautiful day to enjoy an outdoor activity. Saturday night has a low of 51 degrees Fahrenheit. Meanwhile, Sunday is similarly warm with a high of 62 degrees Fahrenheit.
Sunday brings a mix of sunshine and rain throughout the day with a 70 percent chance of precipitation, according to the NWS website. There’s a strong possibility of scattered showers throughout the day with rain potentially starting as early as Saturday night and persisting into the evening and overnight hours.
Monday morning, lingering rain from Sunday will continue to keep temperatures cool and a wet start to your week.
