Keene State College students spent fall break at the Office of Student Involvement’s LGBTQ+ pride-themed trivia and bingo night on Friday, Oct. 6 in the Mabel Brown Room.
The event was held in honor of LGBTQ+ History Month and featured cash prizes ranging from 15 to 50 dollars for winners of both activities.
The trivia included LGBTQ+ topics such as historical events, films, celebrities and other pop culture.
Questions ranged from, “Who stars as the lead character, Megan, in the movie ‘But I’m a Cheerleader?’” to “When was the first gay rights organization formed after the Stonewall uprising?”
Junior Ben O’Connor attended the event with a group of friends and won both a round of trivia and a round of bingo which he said “was exciting.”
With the 40 dollars he won, O’Connor said he was planning to, “Go get legos [for] a lego night.”
Junior Ryan Severn also won 15 dollars during a round of bingo and said he would like to see a filmthemed trivia night in the future. “More movies [would be nice] because we are good at those ones,” Severn said.
