According to information provided to KSC President Melinda Treadwell from the mother of the student that was injured from a fall on Nov. 6, 2022, in Carle Hall, the student is doing “very well.” Treadwell said she had a meeting with the mother about any updates.
Treadwell said she was only able to share so much information to respect the privacy of the student and their family, as well as be within the bounds of laws. “My hope is the student will complete their academic journey,” Treadwell said.
In addition, Treadwell said she hopes to have students from Carle Hall be involved in the planning process for the upcoming renovations. The purpose of their participation would be to provide a student perspective to see how the building can be reworked to better the environment.
