Captain Riley Steele said they played very well as a team. “We stayed connected the whole time and accomplished what we set out to. For the first game of the season, it was great to see the effort that everyone put forth and to come out with a win,” Steele said.

Coming into the second half, Steele kicked the ball and found its way to Leahy grabbing another goal. 73 minutes in, first year Cole Acocelli snagged another goal off of a corner kick bringing the score to 4-0.

Binogono scored the last goal of the game, giving the Owls a winning shutout of 5-0.
