An alleged assault took place early last Sunday on Butler Court against a Keene State Student.
KSC student Zachary Isabelle said he was punched in the side of the head on Winchester Court.
According to Isabelle, he was attending a gathering with some friends when an argument broke out. Isabelle said that he decided to leave, but upon doing so the alleged suspect and some of their friends followed Isabelle.
“Halfway up Winchester street I could hear one of the kids yelling and running up behind me and as he got closer he kept telling me to turn around and fight,” Isabelle said.
Isabelle said he told the alleged suspect that he did not want to fight and would not retaliate.
A Keene Police officer was close by at the time and came to his aid, according to Isabelle.
The alleged suspect is Cameron M. Mitchell of Scituate, MA, and is scheduled to be arraigned May 12 according to The Sentinel.
