Co-Rec Soccer

Tricks for Chicks took home the Co-Rec Soccer Championship with back-to-back 2-1 victories in the semi-final and championship games.

In both games Keelin Lane netted the deciding goal and Chris Madera made six saves in the two games.

Their championship opponents, The Bomb Squad, advanced to the finals with a 4-1 victory over The Amigos with goals from Teal Harrison-Hertz, Chris Sinvil and Monica Waskiewicz.

Cody Figueiredo added the lone goal for The Amigos in the championship.

3-on-3 Basketball

After just two games, some teams have separated themselves in 3-on-3 basketball by being undefeated.

Pierre McGuire [team] is 2-0 on the strength of David Dunham’s 21 points in two games, winning both games by scores of 15-7.

Ben Flanders has also helped facilitate the offense that has Pierre McGuire undefeated and looking to make a run into the playoffs.

Bomb Squad also has a 2-0 record with 15-10 and 15-7 victories.

Chris Sinvil and Teal Harrison-Hertz lead the team averaging 5.5 points and 3 points per game respectively.

It’s been a balanced scoring attack that has Classic College with a 3-0 record already on the season.

With Nate Backus, Jordan Bridges and Christopher Boisse all getting to the basket, Classic College should be a team to look out for as the season goes on.

On the women’s side of 3-on-3 basketball, Newest Narps look like the team to beat behind an opening night 15-8 victory over Free Ballers.

Hailey Connor, Paige Tuttle and Carly Kiernan have all shown an ability to score from anywhere on the floor.
