-After more than three hours, Student Assembly announced five new positions.
– Nutrition Sophomore Sean Ballard was elected as Student Body vice president.
– Ballard ran against Math and Education junior Cory Valentine.
– Ballard has been a member of Student Assembly since Fall 2012.
– He resigned his sophomore class representative position to run for vice president.
– After the election Ballard said he intents to make Student Assembly, “More known on campus and help Kelly Welch, student body president, in every way possible.”
– Bridgette Normandin was elected as Freshmen class representative.
– Christine Nigzus was elected as Freshman class vice president.
-Haley McConville was elected as Junior class representative.
-David Lisle was elected as non/traditional member of Student Assembly.
– Student Assembly Chair Chelsea Clouse noted that the aseembly will offer more opening on Wednesday, Feb. 13.
– On Feb. 26, Student Assembly will hold another elction night.
