An armed robbery has occurred at Campus Convenience on Winchester St. in Keene, according to Campus Safety. The campus is not on lockdown. According to a message from Campus Safety, the suspect used a handgun, was wearing white shoes and a black mask and took off down the bike path.
The following announcement was sent to the public via City Watch:
A short time ago an armed robbery was reported to have occured at Campus Convenience at the corner of Butler Court and Winchester Street. Suspect described as 5’5 – 5’6 wearing black mask, black hoodie, white sneakers and displayed some type of gun. Left scene on foot possibly down bike patch adjacent to campus. KPD on scene investigating. Please use caution if you must be outside near campus and report anything suspicious to KPD (357-9813) or Campus Safety (358-2228).
