This week’s first runner-up is Hayley Dolan.
The freshman forward of the KSC field hockey team put up a pair of goals in each the teams’ two conference victories.
Dolan had four of the teams’ ten goals this week, helping the Owls to a 5-1 victory over Western Connecticut State and a 5-3 victory over New Hampshire state-rivals Plymouth State.
In addition, Dolan was named the Little East Conference field hockey rookie of the week for her back-to-back high-scoring offensive displays.

The second runner up is Maggie Fitter of the women’s cross-country team.
The senior has emerged as the leader of this year’s squad and placed first at the KSC invitational with a time of 19:01. Fitter has stepped up to be the team’s top runner after the departure of key seniors from last year’s squad.
The victory marked Fitter’s first win of her college career.
