Hunter led the team with 20 points in KSC’s 84-83 win over St. Joseph’s and again with 15 points in the Owls’ victory over Southern Maine, 92-57.

Hunter also compiled eight rebounds and two assists throughout the week.

The senior shot 13-19 from the floor and averaged 24.5 minutes of playing time throughout the week’s games.

The first honorable mention this week is once again Courtney Cirillo of the KSC women’s basketball team.

The senior forward has been a big part of the team’s success this year, contributing on both sides of the court.

Cirillo led the team with 16 points and 10 rebounds in KSC’s low-scoring 49-46 victory over conference opponent Southern Maine.

She also shot 10-10 from the free throw line

Cirillo was also a big contributor for the Owls in their 77-51 win over New Hampshire state-rival Plymouth State University with 14 points and seven rebounds.

The second honorable mention is Ryan Widzgowski of the men’s track and field team.

The sophomore middle distance runner finished fourth in the 800 meter run.

Widzgowski had the top finish for KSC at the highly competitive Dartmouth Invitational meet.
