On Wednesday, September 22, 2021, Campus Safety sent out an email regarding theft happening from motor vehicles in the campus parking lot.
The Department of Campus Safety advises that everyone who parks on campus to lock their vehicle every time you step away from it and to not leave any exterior boxes, like toolboxes unlocked or valuables and wallets or purses out in plain sight.
Campus Safety also added some other tips such as keeping the doors locked while driving, parking under a light or close to a building if you are returning to your vehicle after dark and to not drive to your parking area if you are being followed, instead drive to a location with many people and call the local authorities.
The Department of Campus safety would also like all unusual circumstances to be reported to them or the Keene Police Department immediately.
