    The Lorelei Ensemble
On Thursday, April 12, the Lorelei Ensemble performed in the Alumni Recital Hall at the Redfern Arts Center. The all-women’s group is based out of Boston, Massachusetts, and the New York Times described the group’s sound as “warm, lithe, and beautifully blended.” The ensemble works with both established and up and coming composers to show the strength of the human voice.

Pulled from KSC Archives - In the days leading up to the elections for the 1972 presidential primary, students at KSC placed this ad in The Equinox in an effort to sway student votes away from incumbent President Nixon and toward Republican nominee Paul McCloskey. McCloskey drew the attention of the nation because he had served in the Korean War as part of the U.S. Marine Corps and, for his service, was awarded both the Navy Cross and the Silver Star.
